Teteven Dairy won the most prestigious awards for White Brine Cheese and Cow's Milk Cheese

Dairy Teteven performed excellently at this year's edition of the World of Milk. The international exhibition jointly organized by Inter Expo Center and the Association of Milk Producers in Bulgaria gathered milk lovers from all over the country and beyond.

The World of Milk was held together with Mesomania, Bulpek, Wine Salon and Interfood&drink and was opened by the Minister of Agriculture Hristo Bozukov. It was attended by 264 Bulgarian participants and many more guests from Italy, Romania, the USA, Greece and others.

Teteven dairy received gold medals for its "Premium" cow's milk Kashkaval and "Premium" White brine cheese from cow's milk. In addition to these two products, the milk producers also presented a selection of cow and sheep natural cheeses, fresh Mozzarella cheese according to a traditional Italian recipe, as well as a variety of other dairy products.

Teteven Dairy has been on the market for over 20 years and is a guarantee for superior dairy products with an authentic taste from the heart of Stara Planina. The secret of the dairy is in the clean and environmentally friendly production. The Teteven Balkan offers wonderful conditions for procuring and storing high-quality milk and preserves its traditional healthy Bulgarian recipes, from which the Teteven Dairy borrows. To date, the enterprise has a capacity of 16,000 liters of milk per day, of which 6,000 liters are intended for the production of cheese and 10,000 liters for the production of white brine cheese. During the entire production cycle, continuous control of the purity and quality of the products is carried out according to the requirements of the European Union.

These are not the first awards that Mandra Teteven has received. In 2015 and 2016 the dairy won gold medals respectively for Kashkaval from cow's milk Eco Balkan and Cheese from cow's milk Eco Balkan. For the first year, however, Mandra Teteven triumphed in both categories.
